Ernest Ozuna Garcia, age 71 of
Kerrville, passed away Thursday, April 13, 2006 in a local hospital.
He was born October 5, 1934 in Houston to Mose and Mary Ozuna Garcia.
He retired from Mooney Aircraft in May
1997 after 45 years of employment. He was a musician who had made a
record and played with the Fritz Morquecho Family Band.
Survivors include mother, Mary O.
Garcia of Kerrville; daughters, Karen Garcia Bill and husband, Gilbert
of San Antonio and Tammie Raynett Garcia of Austin; sons, Ernest Ty
Garcia and wife, Christina of Wichita Falls and Whailen Wade Garcia of
Fredericksburg; brother, Rudy O. Garcia and wife, Rachael of
Kerrville; seven grandchildren and nine great grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his
father, Mose Garcia; son, Michael D. Garcia and a grandson, Whailen
Wade Garcia, Jr.
Visitation will be held Friday, April
14, 2006, 5-8 p.m. at Grimes Funeral Chapels.
Services will be held Saturday, April
15, 2006, 10:00 a.m. at Grimes Funeral Chapels officiated by Pastor
Jim Stone of the Trinity Lutheran Church of Stonewall. Interment will
follow in the Wilke Cemetery in Albert, TX.
A memorial rosary will be held at a
later date.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be
made to Trinity Lutheran Church in Stonewall or a charity of one’s
choice. |
