Jeremy VanWinkle died Saturday, April 15, 2006, in a San Antonio Hospital. He was born in Stockton, California to Darlene Whitehead and Gene VanWinkle on February 1, 1979. Jeremy was a carpenter by trade and spent many hours doing what he enjoyed, building custom homes.

He always had a welcoming smile and helping hand to anyone in need. He was a good friend, loving brother and cherished son and grandson. Everyone loved Jeremy. He is survived by his mother, Darlene Stevens and Husband David, Dad Jim Fitzgerald, brothers and sisters Jason Van Winkle, Katy Rose Fitzgerald, James Fitzgerald and Jody Fitzgerald, father, Gene VanWinkle, grandparents, Dayton and Laura Whitehead, Roberta and Jerry Henderson, and his special gals Summer Howell, and the child he called his daughter, Megan. He is also survived by many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.

Funeral services will be held Wednesday, April 19, 2006, at 4 PM. At the Medina United Methodist Church where Jeremy was a member, with Pastor Bill Stegemueller officiating. Interment will follow at Oak Rest Cemetery in Medina.
