Carol Miller Roberts Woerner was born to Katherine R. Miller and Charles A. Roberts on September 11,1935 in San Francisco, California. She passed away from lung cancer on April 24, 2024, at River Hills Health and Rehabilitation.

After high school, Carol married a lifetime love, Charles D. Woerner. From this marriage came three beautiful children, Chris (wife, Janel), Carrie (husband, Bill Welch) and Craig (wife, Jackie). Earning her the name ''Gramma Wiggles'', came more blessings, their grandchildren: Brian Craig Woerner (deceased), Chase, Jamie and Cally Woerner, Justin, and Wesley Welch. The blessings continued with great-grandchildren: Cade, Avery, Casen, Brady, Matrim, Trinity, Tyler and Zoe. More blessings with great-great-grandchildren: Illeanne, Oaklyn, and James. Carol's siblings are Jodi Morris (deceased), Charles Roberts (deceased), Roberta Zelinka (husband, Fred).

Carol became an LVN and worked for Dr. Jackson for many years. She also worked many years for Grimes Funeral Chapels where she became the familiar smiling face and was a stranger to no one. She has touched so many lives during her time and had so many friends that were truly considered her extended family. She was very blessed and so were we for all of those that were a part of her life.

Visitation will be held from 5-7 PM, Friday, May 3, 2024, at Grimes Funeral Chapels.

Services will be held at 2 PM, Saturday, May 4, 2024, at Grimes Funeral Chapels, officiated by Pastor Del Way. Burial will follow at Glen Rest Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be Doyle Harris, Tyler Welch, Chase Woerner, Cade Woerner, Michael Johnson and Robert Caraway, II.

Thank you: Alamo Hospice (Melinda, Liz, Elizabeth, Evelia and Josie), RHH&R: (Kayla, Judy, Karrie, Christine and Beth) and Johnny Grimes.

Special thank you to four BLESSED ladies, Beverly, Andrea, Doret and Milly.

Carol loved flowers, gambling and was involved with the Humane Society. If donating flowers, make it a living one and come pick it up when services are complete or donate to the Humane Society or say a prayer for her on your next gambling adventure.

''Blessed''

Oh Carol, I will miss your beautiful smile and always giving hugs. I don't know your children but I am sure they are wonderful knowing of your influence on them. I remember your Charles also. Love, love....

Carol Woerner was one of my mother’s first FUN friends when we moved to Kerrville in 1962. I remember Carol as ALWAYS upbeat and her sense of humor was one even a little kid could understand. I am happy this family was able to have their matriarch for such a long time so several generations could know and love Carol. There is a game of some kind afoot in Heaven and I know who the organizer is. Love, kk

Carol was such a blessing. I used to stay sometimes an hour after work just to talk with her. She was such a loving person. I really enjoyed visiting with her at GFC. She will be sorely missed.

I will always remember Carol's smile, specially during my darkest days after Lamar's passing, whenever I would see her at Grimes' reception in the evenings, she would always listen to me, let me cry, and her positivism and smile, her calming and sweet words helped me to get through.
A sweet and kind lady, her memory will remain in my heart forever, and I am sure she's smiling in the presence of God in Heaven.
