Mildred Rose Lynch Kendrick, 92 years of age, of Ingram, Texas passed away on June 16, 2026, in Kerrville, Texas. She was born in Hunt, Texas on Seago Road on August 3, 1933. She was born to Amos Rose and Emma Lohman Rose.
Mildred married John Harold Lynch on May 19, 1951, in Ingram, Texas. They raised three sons, Harold Ray Lynch, David Eugene Lynch and Richard Michael Lynch. All her sons were members of the Ingram Fire Department.
Ms. Kendrick is preceded in death by her first husband John and her second husband Charles, sons David Eugene Lynch, Richard Michael Lynch and two grandsons.
Most of her married life she was a housewife. She washed dishes at Rachel’s Kitchen in Old Ingram, a few years later she was the head cashier at Dairy Queen on Junction Highway where she met her second husband, Charles Kendrick. They were married several years before he passed. Both of her husbands were WWII veterans.
She is survived by her oldest son, Harold Ray Lynch and wife Davi, three grandsons, Jason Lynch and wife Lori, John Lynch and wife Jeanette, Jamie Lynch and wife Sara, granddaughter Robin Clay, five great grandchildren and several cousins.
Visitation will be on Friday June 19, 2026, from 5pm-7pm, at Grimes Funeral Chapels, and the Honor Guard will be provided by the Ingram Fire Department.
Funeral services will be held at 2 pm Saturday June 20th at Grimes Funeral Chapels with Justice of the Peace Bill Ragsdale officiating.
Pallbearers will be James Lang, James Woody Woods, Wyatt Kelly, Jason Lynch, John Lynch, and Jamie Lynch. Honorary Pall bearers are the members of the Ingram Fire Department.
