Jamie Eugenia Evans, age 86, of Kerrville, Texas, passed away on February 22, 2024, in Kerrville. She was born in Boerne, Texas to James and Agnes Watson on March 24, 1937. She married Donald Ray Evans on December 27, 1958, in San Antonio, Texas.

She went to school in Boerne, Texas. She worked for Straus-Frank Co. in San Antonio for many years. She also worked for many years and retired from the Social Security Administration in Kerrville.

Jamie was preceded in death by her husband, Donald Ray Evans; her father, James Watson; her mother, Agnes Watson; and three of her brothers, Robert Watson, Carroll Watson, and Roy Watson.

Survivors include her son, Randy Evans and wife Shana; her daughter, Diane Gammage and husband Paul; her brother, Pat Watson and wife Mary; her sister, Mary Etta Watson; and her brother, John Watson; as well as five grandchildren, Myles Smith, Marli Roberts, Tabatha Evans, Zach Evans, and Carter Evans; and four great-grandchildren, Lennon Roberts, Lincoln Roberts, Grace Evans, and Wylder Evans; and countless nieces, nephews, and in-laws - all of whom she loved very dearly!

Funeral services will be held at 10:30 AM on Tuesday, February 27, 2024, at Calvary Temple Church with Pastor Del Way officiating. Burial will follow at Glen Rest Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be Myles Smith, Zach Evans, Carter Evans, Paul Gammage, Mark Roberts, and Ronald Smith.

Memorials may be given to Calvary Temple Church

The family wishes to extend our sincere thanks to Peterson Hospital, Peterson Hospice, River Hills Rehab, Grimes Funeral Chapels, and Calvary Temple Church.
