We called Dewey “Steve” and he was the most wonderful man and always greeted us with a big hug and smile. We always looked forward to his and Shirley’s visits to Virginia.

Dewey was so much more than my cousin and I will always cherish our time together. He had an infectious smile and always had that devilish twinkle in his eye ready to charm everyone!! I will miss him every day and I was so honored to be in his presence and so fortunate to connect with him in our adult years. He always had a special connection with my Mom from his childhood days and he loved her very much and vice versa. I loved him so much and will miss our heartfelt talks!! I know your wings are flying high and always will be! I Love You!!❤️🇺🇸 Cathy Beene
