David Beaver gained his wings on March 30, 2025, with both his children and family by his side.
David Allen Beaver Sr. was born March 23, 1942, to Juanita and Leonard Beaver in Kerrville, Texas. He was raised in Center Point, Texas and went to school in Center Point, Texas at 14. When his dad passed away, he quit school to help support his family. He always wanted to be a truck driver and that's what he was all of his life, driving coast to coast. The last 10 years, he was the park host for the Kerrville Schreiner Park.
He met and married Mary Field from Hondo, Texas. They had three children. They were married for 17 years and then divorced but remained friends all of their lives.
He was preceded in death by his daughter, Susan; his mother and father; three brothers; and two sisters.
David is survived by his two children, David Beaver and Robin McGehee. He has 6 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.
David (Karla) Beaver Jr. have 2 children, Beau (Brandy) Alford and their 2 children, Brynnlee and Murphy; Clay (Alex) Beaver and their 2 children, Oakley and Abel.
Robin Beaver McGehee has 4 children, Randy (Carissa) McGehee and their child Randy Jr.; Courtney (Bobby) McGehee and their 2 children, Jaidyn and Ryder; Kayla (Chris) Elliott and their daughter, Kendal; Hunter (Whitney) McGehee and their 2 children, Remi and Jamison.
David's last wish was for the family to stick together and to take care of one another. Private family services will be held riverside at Kerrville Schreiner Park, 2385 Bandera Hwy. in Kerrville.
The family would like to give a big Thank You to Peterson ICU Dr. Punjabi and the staff, Methodist ICU and Hospice for the great care Dad was given the short time he was in their care.

I loved uncle David and wished I could have visited Texas before his passing. He will be truly missed, but it is good to know he is with my father Charly and Nana in heaven.
