John Kenneth "Kenny" Benson was born and raised in Kerrville, Texas and sadly passed on April 28, 2025, in San Antonio, TX.

He was the class of 1980 at Tivy High School.

Even though he was retired, he picked up a side job at America's Auto Auction as well as picking up scrap metal with his road dog GiGi.

Sadly, he leaves John Poulin (son), Adrian Benson (son), Anthony Poindexter (son), as well as Adriana Benson (daughter). Also to include Genevieve Benson (mother), Lucinda "Cindy" Duckworth (sister), Henry "Bo Bo" Benson (brother), Albert "A B" Benson (brother), and Roy Tyrone Benson (brother). He also left his loving grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins, and many, many others that he has crossed paths with.

The Great Feast and Celebration of Life will be on June 14, 2025, at the Dietert Center in Kerrville from 3 -7pm. If you have any photos of him, please do bring a copy as to I would love to have them (Adriana).
