On July 3, 2025, we lost our beloved sister, aunt and friend Sylvia Jane Way, age 78. She was called to her Heavenly home round 4:50 PM at Arbor View Nursing Home. She will be greatly missed but only for a short time till we meet up with her again in Heaven. One of Janie's very good friends and her Chaplain, told me and my best friend a few hours before she passed, never tell a good Christian Goodbye, just tell them we will see you again soon.

Janie was born in Synder, Texas April 24,1947 to Kenneth and Betty Way. Janie lived most of her 78 years in Kerrville, Texas. She attended Kerrville Schools, and First Assembly of God Church and later Calvary Temple Church.

Janie was the oldest daughter of four. She was preceded in death by both her parents Kenneth and Betty Way; her niece, Jimmy Michelle Crider; and nephew, Buddy McGehee Jr. She is survived by her three sisters and brothers-in-law, Kathy and Cecil McGehee, Twila and Ronny Rotge and Bonnie and Jimmy Crider. Janie had many nieces, great-nieces and nephews and great-great-nephews. She was greatly loved and will be greatly missed.

We would like to thank Alamo Hospice for all their help and compassion. A very special thanks goes out to the Chaplain Larry that faithfully visited her. She loved you dearly. Our move to Arbor View was very quick and with a very short time you showed so much more care and love to her than we could ever imagine. The nursing care was impeccable. Thank you all.

Private family services will be held at a later date.
