Gracelyn Faith Seale brightened up the world on August 23, 2007. She embodied the spirit of strength, wisdom, and life every day she was on this earth. Those close to her knew her for her resilience, honesty, and witty sense of humor. People her whole life often described her as an old soul. As a young child she was always on the move. She enjoyed running around outside (usually barefoot despite what her grownups advised her). She always had a heart for music and enjoyed singing and making up songs. Before she could write the words herself, she would ask her loved ones to grab a pen and paper and write her songs down for her. She was also passionate about the culinary arts and spent many days cooking and baking with her Nana.

Gracie battled cancer when she was a young child and lost her leg, but she never let it slow her down. Gracie faced challenges with a spirit of determination and maintained her strong will and positivity through it all. Gracie was always true to herself and despite many trials and tribulations, she remained confident and had a bright outlook on life.

She was very dedicated and poured her heart into everything she did. She was passionate about dance and was Senior Varsity Cheer Captain and Cheerleader of the Year. She was dedicated to her schooling and graduated with honors. She was proud to be accepted into UTSA and looked forward to studying film, but the true desire of her heart was to make connections and eventually become an author.

Gracie Faith passed away in her home on Thursday, July 10, 2025. She is preceded in death by her grandfathers: Richard Murden, Ronald F. Seale Sr., and Gene Bode, as well as her uncle, Brandon Seale. She is survived by her father William Jason Seale and mother Gina Lee Murden, her grandmothers Susan Beverly Seale and Margaret (Loon) Bode, and many aunts, uncles, and cousins who love her and will forever honor and treasure her memory.

Service will be led by Bryan Kendall. Pallbearers will include beloved uncles and cousins.

Service will be held at 2pm, Saturday July 26, 2025 at Grimes Funeral Chapels with burial following at Garden of Memories Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to a children's charity of choice.

She was such an amazing friend to have, I will forever treasure all the fun moments we had together. It breaks my heart to know I wont be able to see her. May her soul rest and be welcomed in to the land of spirits. I'm so sorry for your loss.

Gracie was a good friend, not only to myself, but others around her. I was, and still am proud to have called her a friend of mine. I don't know for certain if I will be able to make it back in time for the funeral, but I will do everything in my power to. I never got to actually meet her family, but if they need an extra ear to listen, I would be happy to provide one.
