He was born in Guanajuato, Mexico to Maria and Adolfo Romero on July 9, 1982. He went to school at Tivy High School. He worked as a Food Service Manager IV for Kerrville State Hospital for 23 years.
Survivors include son, Leonardo Romero; brothers, Gustavo Romero, Miguel Romero, Juan Romero, Luis Romero and David Romero; sister, Maria Romero; and parents, Maria Lopez and Adolfo Romero.
Visitation will be held from 4-6 PM, with the Rosary at 5 PM on Monday, July 28, 2025, at Grimes Funeral Chapels.
Mass will be held at 11 AM, Tuesday, July 29, 2025, at Notre Dame Catholic Church. Burial will follow at Garden of Memories Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Gustavo Romero, Maurisio Venzor, Jason Suggs, Luis Romero, Leonardo Romero and Miguel Romero.

Our Deepest Heartfelt Condolences to all the family. We are so sorry for your loss. All of Leoβs co-workers at the Kerrville State Hospital are very saddened by this tragedy.
