Martha Dunks, 82, of Center Point, passed away on December 24, 2025, in San Antonio, Texas. She was born in Malvern, Arkansas to George and Leone Fowler Keith on June 8, 1943. She married Edward ''Gene'' Dunks on August 31, 1963, in Houston.

Martha graduated from Bellaire High School in Houston and went on to earn her degree in Home Economics from Baylor University. She devoted her life to caring for her family and also spent time serving her community as a parole officer. Her love for her children and grandchildren was immeasurable, and they remained the center of her world throughout her life. She found joy in quilting and embroidery, and she had a lifelong passion for dogs, who brought her great comfort and companionship.

Martha was preceded in death by her loving husband, Gene; her mother, Leone Fowler Keith; and her father, George Keith; as well as her son, John David; and her daughter, Martha ''Betsy'' Elizabeth Dunks-Thompson.

Martha is survived by their daughter, Mary Iley. Survivors also include six grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held at 10 AM, Friday, February 13, 2026, at the Center Point Cemetery.
