Mary Sue… I am saddened from the news of Mike’s passing & pray for you & the family to have comfort & understanding at this time 🙏 I was blessed to know the Douville family from the day Ann Marie arrived at our school in Iraan around 1970. We became best friends & her family treated me like I was one of them .
Through the years Mike was always there to help me when I called…. from work assistance to hosting us when Ann Marie met us there for a summer vacation. Mike was a great guy always giving of himself. I feel like I’m a better person by knowing he & Mary Sue all these years 😇 Go rest high on that mountain Mike..

Mike was a true blessing to me. He took great pride in his work for me and was a GOD fearing man. His friendship will be missed by his family , friends, brother Knights of Columbus. Mike always went the extra mile to serve so many in his community of Kerrville. His love of hunting birds was shared by many fellow hunters. His kind words and over seeing of my business helped me so much when I truly needed it. I know that God has a room prepared for him in heaven. May he rest in peace and know he was loved by many..Sincerely and prayed over❤️🙏Dr Peter Rothermel

Mike was the first to welcome us at the Chamber. He helped us with our taxes, and we helped him with his plumbing needs. We are saddened by his loss and send our condolences to his family.

Mike was a solid member of our community. He was always in the background doing the heavy lifting. A very fine man. Last time I saw him was at the Buddy Holly concert and he was smiling and enjoying the evening with his wife who was always by his side.

Hello Mary Sue and Family.

So sorry to hear about Mike's passing. He made the world a better place.

Please let me know anything I can do to help out. I have room available at my house if any out of town family needs a place to stay.

I will never forget the time he called me to find out how many were coming to Sara's birthday (she was about 7 at the time) She had (unbeknown to us) crawled up in Mike's lap and requested that he bring doves to her birthday. Of course he was happy to do it and clearly this little kid knew he loved her. That is who Mike was.

His generosity to all and unlimited devotion to his family defined who he was.

May he rest in peace.
