Beau Brent Mains, 44 years old, of Johnson City, Texas, passed away March 21, 2026, in a San Antonio Hospital. Beau was born in Kerrville, Texas to Joe and Judy Mains on October 7, 1981. He married Briana Janssen on February 14, 2009, in Tow, Texas.

He graduated from Ingram Tom Moore, Ingram, Texas. He was recruited to play golf for Mississippi Gulf Coast College in Gulfport, MS. After graduation from MGCC, he returned to Texas to play golf for Schreiner University and received his BS in Business Administration. He's worked in the golf industry most of his life-Asst. Pro at Lady Bird Golf, Fredericksburg, TX, The Woodlands, Le Triomphe Golf and Country Club, Louisiana and Callaway Golf, Austin, TX.

He was preceded in death by grandparents, Fred and Evelyn Cook, Gulfport, MS; grandparents, Charles and Rachel Mains, Harper, TX; uncles, George and Luke Mains, Kerrville, TX; uncles, Ronald Cook, Biloxi, MS, David Cook, Biloxi, MS, Charles Cook, Kerrville, TX, Dean Cook, Biloxi, MS, and Robert Cook, Bluffton, TX.

He is survived by his wife, Briana and daughters, Hannah and Asher Mains; brother, Nathan (Emily) Mains and their children, Waylon and Sawyer Mains, Lexington, SC; mother and stepfather, Judy and Michael Gaston; father, Joe Mains, San Antonio, TX; father-in-law, Jerry Janssen, Runge, TX; mother-in-law, Jane and Steve Spears, Matheny, WV; and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.

Funeral services are under the direction of Grimes Funeral Chapels and will be held Friday, March 27, 2026, at 10AM at St. Mary's Catholic Church, Fredericksburg, TX.

Pallbearers will be Nathan Mains, Waylon Mains, Sawyer Mains, Hannah Mains, Tim Juarez, Ronnie Brown, and Jerry Janssen.

Memorials may be given to Hill Country SPCA, 2981 South Hwy 16, Fredericksburg, TX 78624 or to Mississippi Gulf Coast Community College Foundation, Attention: Golf Program, P.O. Box 99, Perkinston, MS 39573.
