Frank Lee Schulgen, age 74, of Dripping Springs, Texas, passed away on January 5th, 2025. He was preceded in death by his parents, Grady and Fanney Schulgen; and sister, Helen Terpenning.

He is survived by his loving wife, Sylivia Schulgen of 55 years; sons, Frank Schulgen and wife Belinda, and Michael Schulgen and partner Billie Joe Horner; sisters, Terri Tugmon and husband Danny, Luann Bidinger and husband John; brother-in-law, Bob Terpenning; grandchildren, Michael Schulgen, John Schulgen, Thomas Schulgen, and Blaze Schulgen; step-grandchild, Clinton Horner; eight great-grandchildren; as well as numerous nieces, nephews and friends.

Frank was born January 19th, 1950, in Cameron County, Texas. He went to school at King High in Corpus Christi, Texas. He was a veteran of the Vietnam Army and received Combat Infantry Badge and proudly served with Recon Unit Luther’s Anamals as the Forward Observer. After serving in the Army, he began working construction with his father Grady and continued in construction throughout the years.

A special thank you to the nurses and staff in the Hero’s Haven unit at Kerrville Veterans Hospital; they took very good care of him.

Memorial Service will be Monday, March 24th, 2025 at 2:30 p.m. at Central Texas State Veterans Cemetery at 11463 Fort Hood Street, Killeen, Texas 76542 (254-616-1770).
