Anita Kay Beasley

Anita Kay (Munn) Beasley, of Kerrville, passed away on April 15, 2026, in Bandera. She was born in Kerrville, TX to Phyllis Lanita and Gay Munn on December 20,1947. She married Hugh Stephens in October of 1963 with whom she shared three children, Keith, Rebecca and Neill. On October 14,1994, she remarried to Charles Beasley in Kerrville.
She went to school at Tivy High School in Kerrville. She also was employed at Tivy Elementary School and later at Texas Parks and Wildlife Fisheries Research Station in Mt. Home, TX. She also worked in the HR Dept of Texas Dept of Corrections at Mountain View Unit in Gatesville, TX. She served proudly on the IISD School Board, she was also instrumental in founding the Ingram Little League. She was a proud member of the Daughters of the Republic of Texas as well as Daughters of the Confederacy.
Kay was preceded in death by her parents, Lanita and Gay Munn.
Survivors include her husband, Charles Beasley; former husband, Hugh Stephens; children and spouses, Melissa and Keith Stephens, Rebecca and Mark Marsh, Charlotte and Neill Stephens, Charles and Sherry Beasley, Cassie Beasley and Jayanna Beasley; grandchildren, Shana Marsh, Jordan and Josh Miller, Clara Stephens, Jakob Stephens, Emma Lou Stephens, Trey McCloud, ABCDE and Jordan Kincaid and Cutter Beasley, Jaks, Rhys, Xane Evans; and great-grandchildren, Kayden Davis, Eli Marsh, Tripp and Beaux Miller and Renley Kincaid.
Celebration of Life will be held at 11 a.m., April 22, 2026, at Tatsch House at Ladybird Johnson Park, 432 Ladybird Ln., Fredericksburg, TX.
Memorials may be given to the National Park of your choice, as Mom loved going to many National Parks.
The family wishes to extend our sincere thanks to Bandera Nursing and Rehab also to Alamo Hospice.
