Forrest Edwin Coleman was born December 7, 1930, in Temple, TX, to James H. Coleman and Ethel Frederica (Swanzy) Coleman. He was the youngest of four children.

Forrest served two years in the U.S. Army. He was stationed in Germany as an anti-aircraft gunner. He left the U.S. Army in 1952 and returned to Texas.

After serving in the Army, Forrest attended Baylor University in Waco, TX and graduated in 1956. This started his lifelong love for all things Baylor. He loved watching his beloved Bears play football and basketball. Almost all of his clothing consisted of items from Baylor University, so all knew of his love for Baylor.

His career was spent in banking, first with the Federal Reserve Bank of El Paso, TX. He also worked for the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation.

In 1984, he married Theresa (Terry Bell) after dating for four years. When Forrest retired in 1994, he and Terry traveled and cruised with dear friends. Terry passed away in 2021.

Forrest was preceded in death by his parents. Also, his siblings: James Coleman, Ruth Miller and Stan Coleman.

Although Forrest never had any children of his own, he enjoyed a close and loving relationship with his brother, Stan's three children: Jann Fenton of Houston, AK, Karen Griffin Arndt of Wasilla, AK and Stephen Coleman of Stillwell, KS.

Forrest expressed his belief in the saving grace of knowing his Savior, Jesus Christ.

Forrest requested no service. He died March 4, 2025, in Kerrville, TX.

It was my great pleasure to have met and visited with Rusty and Terry on a surprise connection while on a vacation in Hawaii with his niece Karen Arndt. I was pleased to visit him in Texas this past year again with his niece
Karen. He was always the ultimate host and gentleman , exibiting extreme patience while we were jewelry shopping. My deepest condolences to all who loved him and held him dear.

I will always remember Forrest. I was his barber for several years and enjoyed such a kind and gentle man. Forrest left this world a better
Place as he touched people with his love of humanity.
