Jeremy Blake McGee of Kerrville, TX passed away on March 22, 2022. He was born on May 26, 1975 in Little Rock, AR to James and Dianne McGee. His wife is Melissa McGee. They were married in Kerrville, TX.

He graduated from Ingram High School where his love for basketball was formed. He continued playing basketball at McMurray University and continued playing basketball for a travel club league. Later, he shared his love of the game while coaching his daughter's, Ariel team. He made sure the entire team was able to participate and enjoy the game as much as he did.

Jeremy was preceded in death by his grandparents, Gail and Ruby Kinsey and grandfather Carthal McGee. Survivors include his wife Melissa, and his daughter Ariel, brother Joseph McGee, sisters Jennifer Davis and Jaime McGee, parents James and Dianne McGee, grandmother Edna McGee, along with aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews and multiple cousins.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to a savings fund for Jeremy's daughter, Ariel at Texhillco in Kerrville. The website is texhillco.org.

The family wishes to extend our sincere thanks to Sgt. Kevin Klaerner, Kendall County Sheriff's Department.

Services will be held at 2 PM, Sunday, March 27, 2022 at Grimes Funeral Chapels, officiated by Rev. David Payne. Visitation will precede the service, beginning at 1 PM. Burial will be held privately.

Jimmy, Diane, Joe, Jennifer, Jamie:

I am so very to see here online on FB that Jeremy has since passed away. I know I haven't seen him in years. But I have never forgotten the last time I saw him when Mom, Dad & I came to Texas. He kept telling me he wanted to go "hotside" instead of "outside." He was about three I think at the time. He will be missed. God bless all of you at this sad time. I will be praying for you all.

Prayers for all who loved Jeremy. Melissa is heavy in my heart, I pray that her grief is eases with the warm memories of him in her heart; and with every funny story told by loved ones and every little mannerism that makes her smile on a random basis.

I haven’t seen Jeremy in years but remember what a sweet young man he was in school. He would come by after school to eat a bowl of cereal before going home. He knew Rocky always had cereal at his house. Loved watching those two play soccer. My heart breaks for all of you. Continued prayers
