Sammy Jack Light, of Bertram, Texas passed away on May 11, 2015 in Kerrville, Texas. He was born in Medina, Texas to Harvey Vache Light and Mildred Jalquline (Jackie) Maxey onJuly 3, 1941. He married Patricia (Tricia) Sanders on December 5, 1981 in Ingram, Texas.\r\n\r\nHe went to school at Junction, Texas. As a young man, Sammy worked in the oilfield and later he worked as a general foreman for Brown and Root . He also was a rig welder for Pride and Exxon pipelines.\r\n\r\nHe was preceded in death by his brother, Smokey Light; father, Harvey Light and mother, Jackie Foley. He is survived by a loving family and many good friends.\r\n\r\nVisitation will be held Wednesday, May 13, 2015 from 4PM to 6PM at Grimes Funeral Chapels in Bandera.\r\n\r\nA graveside service will be held Friday, May 15, 2015 at 3PM at Sandflat Community Cemetery in Sandflat, Texas (near Cleburne, Texas) \r\n\r\n[contact-form-7 id="73" title="Send Condolences"]
