Emma Smith, loving mother, grandmother and child of God, of Comfort went to be with the Lord on Sunday, April 3, 2016. She was born the 4th of 12 children to Lottie and James Hall in Plainview, Arkansas on June 22, 1918. \r\n\r\nShe is survived by daughter, Barbara and Ronald Connelly, four granddaughters, Rhonda and Reggie Tuck, Barbee Shear, Kathy Connelly and Lisa Mayo, great grandchildren, Cody and Ashley Tuck, Travis Tuck, Mason Tuck, Lauren Shear, Lindsey and Nick Laude, Leah and Rob Wycoff, Leslie Shear, Hannah Mayo, Abby Mayo, Faith Mayo and Kaelyn Connelly and two great great grandchildren, Kennedy and Benjamin.\r\n\r\nShe was married to Al Smith for 56 years. They lived in Houston, and she ran the offices for their business, before retiring to Comfort. She loved to read her bible and sew. \r\n\r\nServices will be held at Grimes Funeral Chapels on Thursday, April 7 at 2:00. Graveside services following at Garden of Memories in Kerrville.\r\n
