Wayland Eugene White, age 86, passed away on Monday, July 3, 2017 in Kerrville, Texas. He was born in Borger, Texas to Rodger Garland White and Dovie Lucille White on July 23, 1930. He married Bonnie Marie White on September 14, 1957 in Midland, Texas.\r\n \r\nHe went to school in Borger, Texas. He attended the University of Texas. His first job was with Phillips Petroleum in Borger. He served in active duty as an officer in the Korean War.\r\n \r\nHe owned Hurricane Chemical Company in Corpus Christi, Texas.\r\n \r\nWayland was preceded in death by his parents, son, Larry Burke White and brother, James White.\r\n \r\nHe is survived by his wife, Bonnie M. White, son, Craig White and wife Renee White in Kerrville, sister, Fonda and husband Jens Peterson in Palestine, grandson, Cody and wife Autumn, granddaughter, Jamie White, sister-in-law, Alma White in Austin, and numerous nephews and nieces.\r\n \r\nA memorial service will be held at 11 AM, Saturday, July 8, 2017 at St. Pauls Methodist Church with Rev. Randall Hilburn officiating. Private burial will be held at a later date. \r\n
