Gerald I. Evetts\r\n\r\nGerald I. Evetts, 83, of Bandera, passed away on August 19, 2017 in Bandera. \r\nHe was born in Uvalde, TX. to Robert N. and Willie B Evetts on December 31, 1933.\r\nHe Married Dorothy Louise Heinrich on January 4, 1958 in Zion Lutheran Church in San Antonio, TX.\r\n\r\nGerald is preceded in death by his parents.\r\n\r\nHe is survived by his wife of 59 years, Dorothy; daughters, Natalie Evetts-Hart and Melanie Evetts Thompson both of Boerne; son, Max I. Evetts of San antonio; sister, Selena Ann Apffel of Galveston; grandchildren, Robert Seth Thompson, Rachel Anne Thompson, Lanson Rayne Hart. \r\n\r\nA Memorial Service will be held 11:00 AM, Thursday, August 24, 2017 at St. John's Lutheran Church of Boerne, TX. Burial will be at Mission Burial Park North at a later date.\r\n\r\nIn lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Alzheimer's Association or the American Heart Association.\r\n\r\n
