David William Young determined he had helped us as much as he could, so he left us in Gods care on December 28, 2017. \r\n\r\nDavid was born in Marshfield, Missouri on February 23, 1957 to Rita Mae and Paul Edward Young, both of whom he has joined in heaven, along with his grandparents and an aunt. \r\n\r\nDavid is survived by many loved ones including his sisters, Linda Brent, Janet Pritchett, Cathy Guyton and husband Roland, Karen Lowery and husband Gary, two aunts, five cousins, 22 nieces and nephews. David also leaves behind many wonderful friends in Kerrville who he considered family. \r\n\r\nDavid loved fishing, reading the newspaper, word puzzles, history, muscle cars and being retired. David was dedicated to helping and mentoring others and will be greatly missed.\r\n\r\nA celebration of Davids life will be held in Kerrville at Hilltop Village in the chapel on Friday, January 5, at 2:00 P.M. with Davids friend and mentor, Jerry Beck, officiating. \r\n\r\nIn lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the Kerrville Salvation Army which was near and dear to David.\r\n
