Clarice M. Brown of Kerrville, TX, passed away on Wednesday, Jan. 23, 2019 at the age of 96. She was born in Grapeland, TX, on November 24, 1922 to Clarence M. and Ethel Spence McCarty.\r\n\r\nShe is survived by her son, Grady Vela, daughter Kathy Martinez and husband Frank, grandchildren Aileen, Larissa, and Stefanie, daughter-in-law Mona, great grand-children River, Isabella, and Ruben. Others left to cherish her memory are various nieces, nephews, and friends.\r\n\r\nA memorial service is planned for Feb 23, 2019, at Gaddis United Methodist Church in Comfort, TX. Visitation will begin at 10AM with service to follow. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Hill Country Youth Ranch or the charity of your choice.\r\n\r\n
