San Juana Isabel Zapata-Castillo, 60, of Allende, Mexico, passed away on May 23 in Medina, TX. She was born in Monclova, Coahuila, to Luis Zapata-Castillo and Francisca Castillo-Duran on February 18, 1960.\r\n\r\nShe graduated from college in Mexico as a bi-lingual secretary, then pursued a law degree. She then moved to Medina with her children where she worked as a housekeeper for 18 years.\r\n\r\nIsabel is preceded in death by her parents.\r\n\r\nIsabel is survived by her son Alfredo Guerrero and his sons, Dan, Anthony, and Eli; her daughter Vanessa Odish and her husband, Micah and their son, Ezra; her son Angel Torres and his wife Jessica and their son Conrad.\r\n\r\nMemorial service will be held at 11 a.m., Sat. May, 30, at Medina United Methodist Church. Reception to follow.\r\n
