On Sunday September 6, 2020 Luis Alfonzo Castillo from Bandera, went to be with the Lord. Luis A Castillo passed away peacefully, at his home with his family by his side. \r\n\r\nLuis A Castillo was born November 29, 1946 in Santa Monica, Coahuila. Luis A Castillo is preceded in death by his parents, Maria Martinez Castillo and Manuel Castillo. \r\nLuis A Castillo is survived by his wife, Maria Del Rosario Castillo; son, Luis Castillo Jr. and wife Amanda; daughter, Joann Castillo; son, Eddie Castillo and wife Sara.\r\nEight grandchildren; Esmeralda, Laura, Kothan, Alexis, Emily, Sara, and Kyle; one great grandchild, Lorenzo. \r\n\r\nLuis was hard working, loving, kind and a generous giving man. Luis loved his family, his friends, his animals and even loved a stranger. Luis loved to spend his time with his grandchildren. You could always find him with his grandchildren... riding horses, going to breakfast, singing or just being silly for fun. Luis, also spent his time cooking, gardening, and raising his small farm animals. \r\n\r\nA visitation will be held Friday, September 11, 2020 from 4 p.m.-8 p.m. at Grimes Funeral Chapels in Bandera Texas. \r\nThe Funeral Mass will be held Saturday, September 12, 2020 at 11:00 am at Grimes Funeral Chapels, Bandera, Texas. Luis Castillo will be laid to rest at Bandera Cemetery.\r\n\r\nHonorary pallbearers : sons, Luis Castillo Jr. and Eddie Castillo \r\nPallbearers : Joe Ortega, Edward Rodriguez, Efrain Rivera, Condrado Rivera, Ernesto Albarrn \r\nWes Callaghan.\r\nThe Castillo Family wishes to extend there sincerest thanks to the doctors and nurses of Hospice, the Family and Friends for all their prayers, caring and support.\r\n\r\n\r\n
