Roger Durst, of Kerrville, passed away on September 18th in San Antonio at a local hospital. He was born in Mason, Texas to Ruth Elaine and Lewis W. Durst on May 19th, 1953 and was married to Marcia Blinka on April 22nd, 1978 in College Station, Texas.\r\n\r\nRoger graduated from Tivy High School in 1971. He was recently retired; Prior to his passing, he proudly worked as a housekeeper for Hill Country Memorial Hospital.\r\n\r\nRoger is survived by his wife, Marcia Durst, his son Eric and daughter-in-law Tirza Durst, his son Brandon Durst and by his brothers, Dusty and Jimmy Durst, as well as all of their respective, loving families.\r\n\r\nThe family wishes to extend their sincere thanks to everyone who has reached out in support during this difficult time and to all of the kind medical personnel who helped Roger during these last few months.\r\n\r\nNo memorial services will be held as Roger long ago opted for a quiet cremation.\r\n\r\n\r\n
