Jimmie J. Wofford Sr., 73, of Harper, Texas, passed away on February 7, 2022 in Temple, Texas. He was born in New Orleans, Louisiana to Luke and Evelyn Wofford on November 15, 1948. He was married to Lorraine Carbo Wofford on January 3, 1969 in Woodville, Mississippi.

Jimmie was preceded in death by his parents, and Judy Brooks (Don), Luke Wofford Jr. (Marry Lee), Jeanette Till (Johnny) and Jayne Tanksley (Bear).

Survivors include wife, Lorraine Wofford; son, Jimmie Wofford Jr. (Cherie); brothers, Johnnie Wofford (Elizabeth) and Richard Wofford; sisters, JoAnn Falcon (Barry) and Evelyn Dean; grandchildren, Joshua Sparacina (Nicole), Joseph Wofford (Cymbre) and Jonah Wofford; great-grandchild, Jaxson Sparacina; and a host of nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be held from 4-6 PM, Monday, February 14, 2022 followed by a Rosary at 6 PM at Grimes Funeral Chapels.

Mass will be held at 10:00 AM, Tuesday, February 15, 2022 at St. Anthony Catholic Church in Harper. Interment will follow in the Harper Catholic Cemetery.
