David Alan Donaldson, 68, of Kerrville, Texas, passed from this life to his Heavenly Home on December 9, 2022.
David was born in San Benito, Texas on July 25, 1954, to Jim and Genita Donaldson. He grew up in Brownsville, Texas.
After high school, he served in the Navy, attended Texas Southwest College, Schreiner College in Kerrville and finished Culinary school. David retired from the V.A.
He married Julie Shulte of Bandera. They had three children, Stephanie, Emily and Matthew.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Julie; and his father, Jim.
Surviving are his three children, Stephanie and Josh Paul, Emily and Cody Leicht, and Matthew Donaldson; his mom, Genita Donaldson; aunt, Helen Stockton; and his favorite uncle, Bob Russell.
A memorial service was held from 3-5 PM, Wednesday, December 14, 2022 at Grimes Funeral Chapels.
