Charles “Charlie” Wayne Smith, went home to Jesus on February 19, 2023, at his home in Fredericksburg, Texas.
Charlie was born on September 12, 1939 in Mt. Vernon, Texas to Marvin and Nancy Smith.
He was preceded in death by his parents and 15 brothers and sisters.
He is survived by the love of his life, Dottie; 2 children; 7 grandchildren; and 9 great-grandchildren.
He and Dottie have been members for over 20 years of Calvary Temple Church in Kerrville, Texas where he was proud and honored to serve as long as he was able.
Charlie has requested no services or memorials.
Donations may be made to Shriners Hospitals for Children or St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, or charity of your choice.
