"I loved Bob Fisher. He was my State Farm Agent from the day we moved to Houston in 1981 until the day he retired last January. He always took time to help me. He had so much wisdom about things beyond insurance and always made me feel happy. He made me laugh. Even though I thought I might be able to find a better rate on my car insurance, I would never leave him because he had counseled me in so many ways. What a huge loss to everyone who knew him but especially to those lucky enough to be close to him.
God bless us all but especially his family.

"To the Family and Friends of Bob Fisher:

It was with great sadness that I read of Bob’s recent passing.

We were both new to Houston and starting our careers in the early 70s when I needed car and renter’s insurance. His store front office was about a mile from my apartment on Voss Rd. Over the years, he and State Farm covered eight or ten cars and a couple of houses for my wife and me. Our relationship was conducted mostly over the phone. No real need to visit his office, as he quickly and cheerfully took care of any adjustments we needed, even if it didn’t lead to the most income for State Farm. (Sometimes we visited just because we liked him).

I received his recent retirement letter with mixed emotions. How could he retire when we weren’t finished buying insurance? But I was glad to see he was starting a well deserved retirement. I’m frustrated that he didn’t get the long, enjoyable one that I have been blessed with.

My condolences to all. Bob was a good man who will be sorely missed.

"Heartfelt gratitude to the best brother-in-law ever who was the “rock” who gave so selflessly taking care of mom, so the martini sisters could enjoy 10 memorable cruises together. Carpe diem was your birthday closing-we celebrate your life well lived and will continue to seize the day without you because of your example🥰
