Pecos Connell, 86, of Kerrville, Texas, passed away September 22, 2023 in the San Antonio Methodist Hospital.
He was born April 16, 1937, on the Sparks Ranch in Real County to Maude (Dennison) and Clarence Connell.
Pecos grew up in Uvalde, Texas. Through the years he held many occupations including mechanic's helper, oilfield work which took him overseas and all around the United States, horseshoer and blacksmith. Pecos could do most anything he set his mind to doing.
Pecos was preceded in death by his parents; sisters, Ruth Brown, Lula Waddell, and Myrtle Martz; brothers, James Connell, Ervin Connell and Alton Connell.
He is survived by numerous nieces and nephews, grandnieces and grandnephews.
Cremation under the direction of Grimes Funeral Chapels of Kerrville.
Graveside service will be at Uvalde Hillcrest Memorial Cemetery.
Honorary pallbearers will be: Bill Jacob, Rusty Brown, Johnn Henderson, Wayne Everett, Mike Allen, Tom Brewer and Carey Hancock.
