Jimmie "Jean" (Morris) Price closed her eyes and went to heaven on February 22, 2024, in San Antonio, Texas, at the age of 81. She was born on March 11, 1942, in Claremore, Oklahoma.

Jean, a strong and hardworking woman, had a deep love for nature and animals. Her green thumb was evident in her garden, orchard, and backyard where she grew vegetables, fruit trees, and beautiful plants and flowers. Jean's passion for nurturing extended to assisting in the birth of animals and hand-raising many animal babies on her ranch.

She enjoyed spending time at Del Norte in Kerrville, savoring hot cups of good coffee with friends. She cherished moments with loved ones, especially her role as a Granny, and found joy in cooking, baking, and sharing meals with family and friends. Jean's faith was a significant part of her life, as she found solace in reading the Bible and talking to God.

Jean is survived by many family members and friends. She is preceded in death by her husband, James Price, her daughter, Debra Jean, and many others.

A celebration of Jean's life will take place at The Union Church Building at the corner of Travis and Broadway in Kerrville on Saturday, March 9th, from Noon to 6:00 PM. The event will be open house style, allowing guests to come and go as they please. Refreshments and tea will be served, and attendees are encouraged to bring flowers in honor of Jean's love for beautiful blooms.

"We had a lot of fun with Mom.
Her and Cory were a riot all ways teasing and cutting up. I enjoyed helping her with yard work ,and spending time on the porch singing to Jesus.
Much love and appreciation for the woman who took me and raised me. Taught me about Jesus. I love you Momma, your "Sweet Angel"."
