"Sandy and I went to New Canaan HS in Connecticut -- both loners. We shared an off-beat sense of humor and a love of playing tennis. which we did at the wonderful c;lay courts of that town. An example of his humor: to leave class to go to the men's room we needed a permission slip from our home room teacher. Sandy would forge the teacher's name, then have the teacher review the quality of signature -- aways accepting it as his own. During those HS years we always spent New Years Eve together at his house. Even with his mom in bed, we had only snacks, no booze: straight kids! If anyone else ever reads this,
hey, get in touch. I'm married (wonderful wife) but I'm still a loner."
