Damon Dean Willis, 80, of Kerrville, passed away on May 24th, 2024, at Methodist Specialty and Transplant Hospital in San Antonio. He was born in Millersview, Texas to William Plez Willis and Vivian Bertha Finlay on February 3rd, 1944. He married Carol Myers on August 11th, 1971, in Bandera, Texas.
He was the owner of Back Acres Sand Company and Back Acres Mobile Home and Storage for many years.
Damon was preceded in death by his father, mother, and brother, David Willis, of Kerrville.
He is survived by his loving wife of 52 years, Carol Willis, daughter Sheena Williams and husband Brian of Austin, son Robert Willis and fiance Hannah LeMeilleur of Kerrville, son Richard Willis and wife Sandy of Ingram, daughter Sharon Goodwyn and husband Tom of Fountain Hills, AZ, and daughter Tina Davilla and husband Joe of Luling, Texas.
A memorial service will be held at 2 pm on June 8th at Grimes Funeral Chapels, with Pastor Frankie Enloe presiding.
