Dewayne Renard Frazier, affectionately known as "Fox," was born on September 2, 1955, to Lou Ethel and Hillie Chester Frazier in Kerrville, Texas. From a young age, Fox embraced his faith and accepted Christ as his personal Savior, being baptized by Rev. C.V. Everage at Mt. Olive Baptist Church in Kerrville.

A proud 1974 graduate of Tivy High School, Fox was known for his vibrant personality, infectious smile, and hearty laugh. He left an unforgettable mark on all who knew him. Fox's spirit was felt in every room he entered, and he was beloved by his community, making lasting connections with friends, family, and strangers alike.

Fox had a passion for games, especially chess, and he took great joy in teaching others the art of the game. His love for friendly competition extended to dominoes, cards and shooting pool. Let us not forget that Fox was an avid Houston Texans football fan, always ready to watch the game with a "cold one" in hand. He cherished the occasions when he could gather with family and friends to celebrate holidays and special moments, sharing laughter and making memories that will last a lifetime.

Dewayne "Fox" leaves behind a loving family to cherish his memory: four children, Lester Johnson, LaCresha Johnson, Natasha McClanahan (Frankie), and Hillie Frazier (Natalie); four grandchildren, Alyssa, Uriah, Avree, Journee and Aliyah; and two great-grandchildren, Alesia and Jae'Ceon. He is also survived by three sisters, Eugenia Gaines (Robert), LaJoy Frazier, and Vicki Hicks, along with a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends who all loved him dearly.

Waiting to reunite with him are his parents, Hillie and Lou Ethel Frazier; nephew, Adrian Hicks; and niece, Charmaine Gaines.

On February 25, 2025, Fox peacefully passed from this life, leaving behind a legacy of love, laughter, and unforgettable memories.

Rest in peace, Fox. You will forever be remembered as a beloved father, brother, uncle, cousin, and friend. Your warmth, kindness, and joy will continue to shine in the hearts of all who knew you.

Services will be held at 12 Noon, Saturday, March 8, 2025, at Mt. Olive Baptist Church, officiated by Rev. Maurice Washington.
