Jose A. Dominguez, 73, of Kerrville, Texas, passed away on May 19, 2025. He was born in Villaldama, N.L., Mexico, to Trinidad and Argelia Dominguez on October 1, 1951. He married his high school sweetheart, Rachel Villarreal, on April 28, 1973 in Kerrville, Texas. Jose graduated from Tivy High School in 1972. He worked for Bernhard Meat Processing, as a butcher, for several years. He then went on to work for H.E.B., as a meat cutter, and retired after 30 years.
Jose was preceded in death by his parents, Trinidad and Argelia Dominguez; sister, Mary Molina; and brother, Gilbert Dominguez.
Survivors include his wife, Rachel, of 52 years; daughter, Missy Vasquez and husband Richard; daughter, Mindy Trevino and husband Carlos; grandchildren, Jordyn Moore and Jacobb Vela; great-grandchildren, Jaxson Carrizales, Aidan Carrizales, Thomas Moore, Jenisis Moore and Mia Moore; brothers, Ruben Dominguez, Trinidad Dominguez, Ramon Dominguez and Romeo Dominguez; sister, Griselda Garza; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Celebration of Life will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, May 24, 2025, at Grimes Funeral Chapels in Kerrville.
