Josephine Gutierrez, 78, of Kerrville, passed away September 3, 2025. She was born in Batesville, TX, to Dominga Gonzales and Jose Gonzales on April 9, 1947.
Josie was a housewife for many years and loved fishing, dancing, and being around family and friends.
Josie was preceded in death by her husband, Joe Gutierrez; both parents; sisters, Mary Ybarra and Rosie Gonzales; and brothers, Joe Gonzales and Pete Gonzales.
Survivors include one sister, Tommie Sewell and her children and their spouses; children, David Moreno III, John and Michelle Moreno, Raymond and Shannon Moreno; her grandchildren, Hunter Moreno, Weston Prince and John Ramirez.
Viewing will be held from 5-7 PM, Friday, September 12, 2025, at Grimes Funeral Chapels.
Graveside services will be held at 10 AM, Saturday, September 13, 2025, at Guadalupe Cemetery.
