Jessie Elizabeth Plowden, age 91, passed away on October 10, 2025, in Kerrville, Texas. She was born in Thomaston, Georgia to JT and Ada Bell Short on April 22, 1934.
She was married to Charles Lee Plowden in 1979 in Milledgeville, Georgia.
Jessie was preceded in death by her parents, husband, 6 siblings and her daughter, Patricia Darity.
Survivors include her daughter Sandra Jo Davidson, 6 grandchildren, 9 great grandchildren, as well as nieces and nephews.
Graveside services will be held privately at a later date.
