Donna Belle Stadler, age 87, passed away Monday, April 27, 2026, in Fredericksburg. She was born in Wichita Falls, Texas on September 28, 1938, to parents, Olive and Clara Scarborough.
Her family moved to Houston at age four from Harper and went to Kings High School. She married Richard Stadler and moved back to Harper in 1977, which was her mother and father’s hometown.
She was preceded in death by her beloved son, Clinton Stadler; her husband, R.P. Stadler; mother and father, Olive and Clara Scarborough; brother, O.B. Scarborough and sister-in-law, Dell Scarborough; and two sisters, Doris Burchem and Jimmie Hartzog.
Donna loved working with teenagers and sharing God with them, as well as helping them out when they needed it. She also loved arts and crafts.
Services will be held at 2 PM, Monday, May 4, 2026, at Grimes Funeral Chapels. Interment will follow at Harper Cemetery.
Memorials can be given to Harper Cemetery or Harper Volunteer Fire Department.
