Jane Johnson Buck, 88, of Kerrville, passed away May 12, 2026, in Jasper, TX. She was born in Los Angeles, CA to Thomas and Janie Johnson on March 21, 1938. She married Raymond Lester Buck on April 1, 1956, in Bandera, TX.
Jane went to school in Bandera and graduated as a Salutatorian. She was an accountant at Kerrville State Hospital for 20 years. She was a member of the History Club and Daughters of the Confederacy.
She was preceded in death by husband, Raymond Buck; father, Thomas Johnson; and mother, Janie Johnson.
She is survived by children, Ray and Ann Buck, Robert Buck and Janie and Jim Wycoff; siblings, Patricia and Phil Steck, Nancy and Steve Lions, June Sams, Thomas and BJ Johnson; grandchildren, Brandie Terry, Lee and Matt Buck, Lia and Bethany Wycoff; and many great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held from 5-7 PM, Wednesday, May 20, 2026, at Grimes Funeral Chapels.
Graveside services will be held at 11 AM, Thursday, May 21, 2026, at Pipe Creek Cemetery, officiated by Rev. Frankie Enloe.
