Gertrude “Dolly” Rosales was born November 23, 1938, in Belcourt, North Dakota.
She met and married Victor Rosales in Minot, North Dakota in the summer of 1976, which began her journey to the Texas Hill Country. After Victor’s passing in July of 1978, she chose to relocate here to Kerrville where she remained until her passing on June 26, 2026.
She retired from Home Health in 2018 and spent her time traveling and spending time with her grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Victor Rosales and her son, Steven Brothers.
Her remaining children are Anna Oldfield of Pensacola, Florida, Allen Brothers of Pensacola, Florida, James Brothers of Dallas, Texas, David Brothers of Kerrville, Texas and Betty Brothers, also of Kerrville, Texas. She also has 7 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.
She had a love for life and always made everyone laugh. She will be missed by so many and remembered for her kind, giving nature.
Services will be held privately.
