Jason Landrum, 42, passed away, leaving behind family and loved ones who will forever cherish the memories they shared with him.

Jason was a 2003 Tivy High School Graduate. In 2018, he began working at Kerrville State Hospital and recently transitioned to Laundry Services.

Jason was a one-of-a-kind person who found joy in the simple things he loved most. He enjoyed fishing, cosplay, and watching movies, and he had a genuine passion for knives and swords. His interests were part of what made him uniquely Jason, and those who knew him will remember his personality, his stories, and the many moments they shared with him.

Jason is survived by his parents, Kathy and Carl Carpenter and Joe and Memory Landrum. He is also survived by his siblings and their spouses: Lisa (King) and Austin Allen; Kari Woods; Falon and Ian Love; Dustin and Ashleigh Thomas; Daniel Thomas and fiancé Moriah Welty; Teri Jones; Isaac and Erika Carpenter; as well as Kathy’s adopted children, Jack and Salish.

Jason also leaves behind many nieces and nephews: Addison, Bailey, and Cullen King; Jon-Alys and Sidney Woods; Andrew, Kyle, and Callie Scanlan; Kassidy Thomas; and Brianna, Marcus, and Caitlin Jones.

Rest peacefully, Jason. You will be deeply missed, fondly remembered, and always loved.

Memorial services will be held at 11 AM, Tuesday, September 8, 2026, at First Baptist Church.
